I'm sure we all would like to hear from anyone who has them. My guess is they tap into the wiring for the footwell courtesy lights? But I would like to know if there is a wiring harness or if the install requires tapping into the wiring.
I've added illuminated sills to other vehicles - I really like them and think they are classy.

Could you provide a link to someone reading it in a soothing voice? Or since there's really very few words they could just like idk describe the diagrams while using a spot-on Morgan Freeman impression.

Hi HRG - Yes I did see your original post and link which I clicked on. I scrolled down to technical specs which is where I expected to find the details. BUT I did

HRG - I didn't click on ALL the images on the left and the third image is where the illustrated instructions showing the back of the sill where the coin battery goes. My bad. I looked under "technical specifications" expections to find details there.

Well just installed them and I'm kinda confused why there not illuminating. Instructions are very vague

I have a set sitting in a box by my desk. Waiting to get 'round tuit'. Agreed, the instructions are needlessly complex and require more fuckery than they should.

I believe the micro switch that actives the light is held in the off position by a magnet you position on the underside of the door. Try relocating that as well as being sure the battery is good and the insulation in the battery case has been removed. I for one am disappointed in the product as nobody will know how to access the battery when it quits if I am not around. It shouldn't require a trim tool to pry it off to change a battery.

Just got my set from Ford, very confusing as there are NO printed instructions. Pictures may work for some but I really like words to go with the pictures. Batteries?? Geez, and where is the pry tool to replace the batteries? Seems like for over $200 they could include the tool. and can some one tell me what type of tool is being pictured that looks like a hooked Phillips?
