Do you Ignore any members? Why?
Politics is an immediate brush aside for me.
Can you "Ignore" Administration Members?
Just wondering.
My list grows.
Terraforming.

I ignore any post that has Negative Comments or Negative Opinions to other members or about the Maverick. The one thing I Can't Stand is owners that post Nit-Picky things about the quality of the truck - if there's an issue, don't post, but take the vehicle to their local Ford Service Department and have it fixed - If you don't remember, it's Bumper To Bumper coverage for 3/36 - These type of post only Scare the S*** out of owners waiting for their trucks or potential owners. QUIT wining about Every Small Detail and just enjoy the truck! It's a $19,995 truck, therefore there will be quality issues - if you don't want issues, then there are PLENTY of other trucks to buy that cost a TON more - Have at it!!

This is interesting seems if someone posts something that a member does not agree with, equals I do not want to hear anything they have to say.

Living in an echo chamber has advantages. Makes you never wrong.

Seems to be a hypocritical and biased comment with no view of how those findings could help others. I also appreciate seeing issues so I know what to look for. I don’t expect quality issues from the worlds largest truck company regardless of the price. If people get scared they can buy a different vehicle, what’s the problem with that? I don’t want anyone buying something they aren’t comfortable with.

Im wrong all the damn time and like to “stir the pot”, I’ve probably been blocked by a few people at least. That’s ok by me, I haven’t blocked anyone here and won’t unless they are just complete dicks.

I’ve ignored a few and I’m sure a few have ignored me. Sometimes the obvious political undertone comes out from folks on this site, myself included. I get sucked in and respond, which I should not. It’s my own fault but at the same time shows the present climate in America. I don’t have any social media like Facebook or even YouTube, but I can see what it’s become and it has spread like cancer even into forums where we all have something very specific in common.

Yes, you can ignore members as shown above. And any political posts should be reported as there is a NO POLITICS policy here.

Yes I was a pot stirrer at work. Gave it and received it as well. Former co-workersI I still see point out my employment longevity would be about 10 minutes given the current climate.

Can you ignore entire topics? I usually pull up What's New and end up scrolling through to see if there is anything I am interested in. Many of the topics I wished I could skip/ignore just to see less new content.

Seems you and I are are here for entirely different reasons, I welcome folks pointing out issues with a vehicle few know anything about and that I'm about to drop 30 large on.

If all I wanted to read about the Mav was how super cool and awesome it was, I'd just read Ford's promotional materials. 🤷‍♂️

Are you aware of JD Power Initial Quality survey, Consumer Reports testing , and similar quality surveys including 1st 90 days, 1 year and long term? There used to be a published list of the actual number of "defects" found in each new car each year- right off the lot. I couldn't find that after a little Google search but added a couple links relevant to this topic. In general ALL new cars come with some number of "defects" and some are serious and some not.

I agree with the poster who said it's not helpful coming on here and making a big deal out of something minor like a "rattle in the door pocket", possibly deformed weatherstrip seal, or hood flutter in random vehicles. Just Because YOU and probably some % of like minded people want to know EVERY minute detail of new deliveries, it doesn't mean it's a good idea to nit pick stuff and possibly turn off people who are not as savvy, 1st time buyers, etc. and don't have decades of car experiences to draw on to see the bigger overall picture- but tend to let the internet make decisions for them instead of taking time to thoroughly research a product purchase on their own to satisfy any questions or concerns they have when considering a vehicle purchase.

Remember, these Mavericks have not even been in full production with deliveries for 90 days yet- and that is the JD Power initial quality survey period. So personally I fundamentally disagree with your premise of not expecting ANY quality issues, and publishing complaints about every little quirk that may unfairly skew perceptions of a vehicle with a ton of value, utility, and a warranty to fix anything that turns out to be a real issue for at least 3 years. I just don't see it as useful for a lot of people just starting to consider this vehicle.

No, I don't work for Ford or any other automotive related industry and not a Ford fanboy- I buy what I buy because it meets my requirements and not brand loyalty. Been driving and working on vehicles since 1974 and owned many types- good and bad. Just food for thought here...
