I got a build date??

My dealer just sent me a message saying I got a build (week) date for the end of May. I would be excited but I have my doubts considering I ordered a Lariat (2.0 awd) lux package, SIBL, CP360, a fold up tonneau cover and I ordered November 5.
Is it really going to happen?? I’m hopeful but I have my doubts.

I got my build week and VIN Monday for an EB XLT Lux CP360 4K ordered Nov 2 so it's not out of the realm of possibility!

Build: Hybrid Lariat Lux , sun roof
Ordered: 9/22/21, confirmed 9/23/21
Change: Changed color to Alto Blue 1/24/22
Dealer: Whaling City
Area: South East CT

I was very surprised to hear. I thought they we early September at best.

The dealer did say he was getting the good calls out of the way to prep him to make some bad calls.

Love the optimism. I switched from area 51 to Alto and you did opposite.

But to be a huge downer. They have scheduled over 9 months of hybrid production (Sept 21 - May 22) with less than 4 months of orders (June 21 - not all of Sept 21). So I wouldn't hold my breath for a month. Best luck.

Yes, that is true but it seems that they were initially scheduling with no rhyme or reason and there were quite a few Ecoboosts scheduled in January which took away parts and chips. I'm hoping that now that they are supposedly going by order, they will fill the parts on all the earliest orders first (mostly hybrid left) and then move onto later Ecoboosts once the available hybrid parts are taken up.

I agree expecting a month from now seems unrealistic, but there is someone who ordered from the same dealer as me on the same day as me and they had an XLT hybrid Lux vs my Lariat hybrid Lux and were scheduled about two months ago so who knows?
