Hi guys, I know there is a lot of posts out there on what tires to get. I am currently in the upper Midwest, and still have those touring pro-contact tires from continental which are not my favorites (especially in the snow). What are peoples current tire brand recommendations, and what size did you go? I was looking at the A/T BF Goodrich Trail Terrain tires. Those are 235's, and the stocks are 225's. Let me know. I heard those are good snow rated tires. I do not want to go just snow tires, because i also like the look of A/T's. Thanks.

BF Trail has the best looking tire out. The 235 is the best tire size, it gives a little more width and does not sacrifice ride or mileage. Always Letters out ;). But that is me.

I am going to dealer tommorow to maybe order them. What do you mean by the letters out? White paint outline?

I'm happy with my Falken Wildpeak A/T Trails.

Admittedly, I only have a few miles on them in the snow, but I really liked them on my Crosstrek. My sister has them on her Subaru as well, and my dad runs wildpeaks on his Tacoma too. They both raved about them and live where they get a good bit more snow than I do.

My Maverick is AWD, and I was very skeptical as to how well the Continentals would perform in slick conditions-especially when the temperatures are in the -0s. We've had very slick snow-covered road conditions here in north Iowa and extreme cold over the past few weeks. I am incredibly pleased with how well the factory Pro-Contact tires have performed. I even found some fresh 10-inch-deep powder to test it. My truck was not bothered by any of it! I honestly don't think it will be worth your money to go out and replace your low-mile tires with something that will not likely give you any significant advantage (especially if you opt for A/Ts). I've done a lot of shopping, expecting to replace my tires before winter and this is highly informative) If you don't want to watch the whole thing, The Michelin Cross Climate 2 was the easy winner). https://www.tyrereviews.com/Article/2021-Tyre-Reviews-All-Season-Tyre-Test.htm

I had those on my f150 4x4 and absolutely loved them in all seasons! I also think they're the best-looking a/t out there. It would be a bit odd to recommend those for a FWD Hybrid vehicle tho. Do you feel me?

There are two types of Wildpeak, the Trail and the AT3W. The Trail is specifically made for light duty crossovers, so I figured a FWD truck probably fits well in that category. OP was asking for an A/T tire with snow capabilities for their hybrid maverick. I think recommending an A/T tire that has the triple peak rating isn't that odd at all.
