How to track your order after it's shipped -- ETA and GPS Tracking!

It is possible to get a pretty accurate ETA for your truck delivery after it's marked as "Shipped"
1) You just need to ask your dealer AND
2) Your dealer is willing to work with you.

This is what my dealer sent me upon inquiry.
going to email them every few days to see where the gps marker moved to.

My dealer had this while I was waiting for mine. It's actually more inaccurate than if you call the railway companies. But that was my experience. My truck showed it was in Mexico for 2 weeks according to this app and the salesperson thought I was crazy when I said it would get there on 2/4/2023. Lol imagine his suprise when it got there earlier than that. I got this information from calling CSX and Northernfolk constantly

I actually had the opposite experience. I called the railway and was told it was sitting in Phoenix, AZ, when it was actually sitting in a railyard in Chicago, so YMMV.

How many days does it takes for the vehicle to be delivered to dealership, once shipped from the factory.

My Blue Lariat Tremor got shipped on 14th June and i am still waiting for the phone call/email from the dealer.

Shipment: Hermosillo Assembly --> Tomball ford, Tomball TX (Houston Suburb)

That's a lot like asking "How long does it take to dig a hole?" (What size hole? How deep? What type of soil/rock? What equipment do you have?)

In general, it should take about a month from Mexico to a Houston (or Austin or Dallas) dealership. But that can vary WILDLY depending on rail car availability, 18-wheeler / driver availability, etc. My dealership told me to expect anywhere from 4 weeks to 8 weeks, but cautioned that at least one Maverick took over 3 months to get from the plant to them...

UPDATE: This is the progress in 6 days. ~180 miles away. My dealer says it could arrive a week early. Fingers crossed. Again, I encourage those with 'shipped' status to call your dealer and request a VinView update. They should all have it.

Yeah, they are ignoring me….but it is coming…they took it off their for sale list (shipping) with my VIN it will probably be the same route, give or take 2,500 miles of ocean…
