thank you for the reply, yes theres no need to put the flat under the truck, that in my opinion would be pointless since i would be getting it fixed right awayJeff
I do not know about you, but I have had to change a flat on a soft shoulder. I cannot imagine using your jack without something like a 2 x 10 under it. A nice piece should fit under your back seat along with that tarp someone suggested earlier. Hopefully if you get a flat you can just throw the flat tire in the bed and repair it later, no need to crank it up under the bed. I am not sure since I have never had a truck - can you just crank up the cable and replace the spare later?
I do not think it matters where you post this as long as you are clear on your subject line, which you did. If you just post 'Flat tire ?', then no one really knows what you are asking for.
