How do I get a railcar number?!?!? (Never mind. Finally got it!)

I got my railcar # too, and from the UP tracking service it sounds like it is due to reach its destination tomorrow afternoon (!?). Not sure how long it takes to transfer from rail to dealer, but I'm happy it's moving.

From what I've seen on here it is hard to determine. Do you have a truck driver shortage where you are at? If so, it may take a while. Is yours the only truck at the rail yard going to your dealership? It may take a while. Is your dealership high volume with no driver shortage? You may see it by the end of the week. How far is the dealership from the rail yard? In my case it's 2-3 hours (DFW to Wichita Falls). With so many factors to consider you may want to reach out to your dealer or previous customers to find out.

I work in southern WI and I unload a lot of shipping containers that carry giant rolls of paper ( think a paper towel roll but 9' tall by 5' in diameter and weight 7500-8000lbs per roll) I talk to some of the shipping container drivers... I see a few of them a couple of times a week... I know it's not a car hauler... But they say a year ago to much work not enough drivers.. Now they tell me they have to rotate threw driver cuz their isn't enough load to keep them all busy......

My "Shipped" dot was green on the 27th according to the pizza tracker on the Ford tracking website. It was "Built" for four days before it switched to shipped. I'm just trying to figure out how long it takes to get from the factory to DFW.

Check the dates in my signature. Thats how long mine took to get to Cincinnati. Results may vary
