Is the tuxedo elevate bed rack the only option for an adjustable bed rack system that can be easily removed and work with a tri-fold cover?

I often pack my truck with various photography equipment in hard cases and like having as many options as possible on how I load/transport my gear.

There may be other adjustable racks, but I can recommend the Elevate Rack System. It works great for my Maverick. The posts are adjustable (up/down 3 settings) and you can slide them (front/back) on their tracks; then tighten them in place. Also, they are easily removed. The crossbars have t-slot rails on both top and bottom, so you can mount/attach various items securely in any position across the width of the crossbar. I have my rack set at the lowest of the settings - and my fishing rods still clear the cab with no problem - and I can still drive it in-out of my garage with room to clear.

I think I’ll probably end up with the elevate system. I’m looking for something I can easily remove and put on and this seems like the best option.

Is it true that at the lowest setting you can’t fold the trifold cover all the way up?

I can’t speak to the clearance for the Tri-Fold cover. I have the Pro X15 roll-up cover. Since the racks can slide, I’d bet you could slide them out of the way to fold it up. Although that seems a bit inconvenient. In any event, the pros at RealTruck can probably help answer your questions, with greater accuracy. Their phone number is: 877-875-4376.

I have the elevate rack and absolutely love it. Like others have said Its technically adjustable with 2 bolts in each vertical section being moved so not a quick thing to do. Removing them is definitely quick though I can take them off by myself in only a couple of minutes. I keep a plastic ammo container under the back seat with a small socket and hex key set so I can take it off anywhere I need too. I definitely wanted an easy to remove option so I can go through a car wash and its quick and easy. I was thinking about trying a tri-fold with it at some point. I feel like it has enough room even with the front rack all the way forward but I haven't measured it to know for certain. If there isn't I feel like it would be easy enough to unbolt and slide it forward for enough space and only take a minute or two.
