Hello everyone, I’m getting ready to go neighborhood Christmas light cruising (a thing here in Florida where it’s 65° 😁) and have never had a truck, I’m exploring ideas on how to put up some PVC or 2x2s vertically so I can attach Christmas lights to plug right into the bed.

Perhaps a 2x2 rectangular frame or a triangular frame setting in the bed, covered with net lights.

2 of These for the bottom to go across the bottom of the bed, by the tailgate
6 of These for the top 4 corners and the bottom front next to the cab
And 2 of These for pieces to go front to back over the wheel wells
Basically make a cube that you can tie down in the bed and hook the lights to. Don’t glue it, just piece it together. Then you can take it apart and store it until next year.

They will come apart.

Great, thanks, the second link didn't work but the other links put me on the right path. Thank you kindly.

True, I assumed that it was for driving slowly through a neighborhood.

i have the elevate racks and so this was an easy task for me but it does work great using the bed outlet and it’s a fun Xmas season mod for me. Good luck on your quest and enjoy.

You could also use pvc and connect to the bed tie downs. Don’t forget the wreath for the front!
