Hey I see that more then a few of us have brought our New 2022 Ford Mavericks home (we’ll my Wife took hers home If Fat Boys in Brunswick Maine opens this year we should all try to get together on a Saturday or Sunday in, like, June to show off our Mavericks and chat about all of our likes, dislike, issues (if any) and how our dealers are treating us. Oh and eat some great food in our Mavericks. If they don’t open this year we can pick another place for sure like Days Crab Meat in Yarmouth or Kens in Scarborough or even Cabela’s in Scarborough, they have a huge parking lot and maybe they’ll have some ammo too. (Just kidding for the non gun people I’m sure we all can pick a place close enough to have some Maverick fun. So some names on the potential list are Travis, Liz, Eric, Justin, Sheldon and Jared, to name a few. Just a thought Happy New Year to all of us. May it be a safe, healthy and prosperous New Year for all of us and our families and our true friends too

Latest email today has pushed the build week to April 11th.
Glad I like the C-max(s) as much as I do.

Another new email Friday night...build week is now March 28th.
Just another week on the Maverick Roller Coaster Ride.

I wrestled with myself about posting this bit of information on the latest emails received thread and decided not to, but I'm going to post it here. My niece and her husband were looking at a Mavericks to pull their little Scottie trailer. Her parents had a chance to look at some on a dealership's lot in San Diego a couple of weeks ago and told her it would be a great idea to get one. She consulted with me on the last weekend of January about it, so I pointed her to Ford.com and sent her some of the pdfs I had with trims and build info. Well, on January 25 they went to Darlings in Brunswick to order a XLT Ecoboost with 4K and a few other options, and received their order approved email later that day, and last Thursday received an email that their truck will go into production on - wait for it - March 28. My wife got a little upset but I told her that the whole point of ordering the Maverick was to get the hybrid and we're going to have to wait until Ford gets their act together. Anyway, happy for them, still waiting for my email.

The dealer allocation system is annoying. I'm lucky that I was able to get my truck right off the lot.

Checked the Tracker this morning and there it was...moved to "In Production".

I had 3 emails: 1/20/22 wk of Mar 14th; 1/26/22 wk of Apr 11th; 2/4/22 wk of 3/28.

Fat Boys is opening this weekend (April 1st) I open for a meetup any weekend.

I am interested in meeting up with the group. My girlfriend lives in New Harbor and I'm there every other weekend . Truck is still in transit should be here in a couple weeks . I've seen 2 mavericks in the area during my last couple visits . 1 velocity blue and 1 Area 51 . The area 51 was heading into Damariscotta the other in Bristol on Rt130 .

My build date is is April 23, But I don't expect to see it till late May or June.
I'm still game to show up for a meet, even if my Mav isn't here yet, It will give me a chance to see all the other ones.

I had the same issue in October, November. Back and forth BUT it was actually built Nov 29th which was 10 earlier then the last updated schedule. Good luck, hopefully we'll all be at Fat Boys talking Maverick and about those "other" people STILL waiting for theirs

And for the Latest:

Received an email from Ford last Tuesday evening that my Maverick had been built and was being inspected prior to shipping. Estimate for arrival at Wiscasset Ford to be April 24-30.
This means I guess I'll have to start cleaning out the garage...

And yes, Fat Boy is set to open this Friday (not an April Fool!)...saw some vehicles there this afternoon getting things setup. I generally avoid the first weekend they open, because of the crowd. But looking forward to a get together there at some point...even if I have to bring a C-max or PT!
