Just joined the club, but no truck yet. Waiting for the green light on ordering a 2023 Lariat. I think that’ll be around the middle of August. Gonna be a long wait.

My 2003 Dakota was stolen from my driveway 3 weeks ago. Got the payoff from insurance company within the week. They totaled it because they couldn’t get 90% of the parts needed to repair the damage.

Many years ago I had a Ranger Splash. Loved it. Always wondered why the car companies quit making small trucks. Great move on Ford’s part.

I originally was thinking EcoBoost, but now hybrid. My motorcycle does 40-50mpg, so, if the Maverick can do 30-40, that’s great.

I drive a ‘21 lariat Ranger FX4 that I really love driving!!! Had a 98 Ranger for a few years. So the wait is no big deal for us except gas prices in California.. Done a lot of off-road in AZ in my 05 F150 FX4 that the Ranger replaced. The Ranger has almost the exact hp, torque and tow rating as the F150 it replaced..

My point is you may want to give the Ranger a look but it’s your choice and get what you want..
