Hello from Northern Michigan, I have a Maverick XLT, AWD, FX4 on order. Replacing a 2008 F150 XLT 4x4 crew, looking forward to the new ride.

I want to shout out to all those who posted information on the Maverick. With no brochures and trying to figure out what is included with what package or series was difficult at best. Add to this difficulty is options being dropped or not available in packages from one year to the next. Just want to say a heart felt thank you. Appreciated the information that I found on different threads on MTC (Maverick Truck Club).

I originally was interested and waiting for Ford to manufacture the hybrid in AWD. When they raised the price on the hybrid, they made the decision easy. Also besides adding 9 years different in gas usage to pay for the additional price , I didn't want to pay for the replacement battery if I keep it as long or longer than my F150. I have reservations on how long they will last in freezing temperatures Northern Michigan seems to produce.

Thanks, it's what I've been reading or watching videos on u-tube. I still get more than enough snow here, not near what they get on the west side due to lake affect.

Once we had enough snow, I hit up some parking lots trying to get a feel for it, and honestly, do some donuts. Could hardly get it to break loose, which was both impressive, and disappointing. Should do fine on the roads up there. Only downside so far, I'm probably eating up my fuel savings with how often I'm getting it washed, trying to keep the salt off it.

Just an update. Truck is built and on rail. Preliminary dealership delivery is 3/20-3/27. So far, so good, haven't seen the window sticker yet though.

Update, just found out the Maverick is in Michigan and switching to convoy. Updated ETA is 3/22 through 3/28. Sounds like I might be able to take delivery next week or worse 1st of April.

Well I just took delivery last evening. It was delivered big shot out to Atchinson Ford in Belleville, Michigan. I guess I also should honorable mention Hailey Harris and Bryan Robson (service manager). Anyhow here are a few pictures of my new ride.

Thank you, I'm partial to white. That being said I think the Maverick looks sharp in any color.
