Hey everyone!
Happy to say that I'm taking delivery on Monday of an XL, Area 51 with CP360, EB/AWD, and the 4k tow package. I had ordered an XLT from Grappone Ford in Concord, NH some time ago, and the customer who order this XL is not taking delivery. Grappone went down their list of unfilled orders offer it to those who were still unscheduled, and lucky for me, I guess I was next on the list. Not sure if they went for similar spec'd orders, or just from the top of the list. Good dealer service, they're selling EVERY Mav they get at MSRP to customers who ordered or were on their list.
It's essentially the same specs as the one I ordered, except it is an XL, but the order included the molded floormats, power moonroof, and rear sliding window. Would have preferred the XLT, but I doubt it's going to be built this year and we didn't want to wait another 6-9 months to "maybe" get one.
I think we'll end up buying a set of used XLT wheels from someone who upgrades and keep the steel wheels for snow tires. I'd love to say I'll add a tune and exhaust, but I think we're keeping her stock for a while! I'm going to enjoy the bed mods, as I'm building a shipping container woodworking shop for my CNC machine, and will find plenty of uses for the utility of the bed. Thinking about adding a 3D printer, so there could be some interior fun to be had as well! We are most likely going to use this as our mixed utility vehicle, some light towing and hauling (jet ski, utility trailer, etc.), primary use in snow storms over our FWD Chevy Bolt, and for longer trips where we don't want to worry about charging. May pick up a small teardrop trailer for when my wife works per diem shifts at hospitals in nearby states! We use the Bolt for trips to work (8 miles) as it's so much more efficient at that.
