I came home with a 2022 Maverick Lariat hybrid a couple weeks ago. I've been trying to find one just to sit in and test drive (wanted to compare ecoboost and hybrid) and they had a used one with ~3,000 miles that ended up coming home with me. I've already put ~1,500 miles on it and working great so far!
Previously I had an EcoBoost F150 which I loved, but a new job and longer commute didn't validate the fullsize any more. Before that was a 2000 Ranger so it feels like going back to those roots a little. The Maverick won't tow my 'Yota but should still pull the 15' Boston Whaler (I'll have to report back on this).
I also have a 1985 Toyota Pickup that's mostly offroad (blue one climbing the waterfall in this pic in Sand Hollow, UT)
Until ~1 yr ago, I had worked 11 years for a company as an engineer designing and building aftermarket and OE suspension (sway bars, air suspension and leaf springs). Here's a couple builds I worked on for SEMA over the years. Sticking with the Fords in this thread. The Bronco is on an Art Morrison chassis with a 5.0L Coyote.
