hauling or towing with a lowered setup ?

just curious if anyone out there have towed or hauled significant weight in the bed of their AWD maverick with lowered springs. recently installed H&R super sport lowering springs 2 inch front , 3 inch in rear. contacted


















lowered my maverick with H&R super sport lowering springs. has anyone out there towed or hauled any weight in there bed with this setup with the AWD. contacted Panda Motor Works where I purchased the springs and they carry a inflatable bag that goes inside the rear coil spring that compensates for the extra weight when inflated, but didn't know if it would work with the lowered spring. I knew this would be an issue before I bought the springs. guess should of done my research.

There are lots of reasons car manufacturers build their cars (and trucks) exactly the way they do. If you're going to change anything at all- figure out why they didn't build it that way originally, first....

(Like putting dark covers on headlight or taillights, lowering, changing wheels, etc...)

I have H&R super sports on my awd xl. The most weight I have hauled was my atv plus some wood ramps so probably 450ish lbs in the bed plus about 100 lbs of gear in the back seat. I did a 600 mile round trip like this and while it did have a slight “squat” with the extra weight it drove great. No bottoming out or anything. I did have a few people flashing their lights at me though, so I do eventually want to find some bags that work with lowering springs.
