Hi everyone

Early on, I tries to get in the habit of setting Eco mode when I remembered, but did not notice much difference and soon stopped trying. After driving a while I got more skilled at entering EV mode, and tried to do this when appropriate. I recently retried eco mode, and now it seems to make a big difference. I notice the car in EV mode even when not specifically trying to get there. The engine seems to turn off ASAP on deceleration, and the car seem to be a bit closer to 1 foot driving, that is, more engine braking when I left off the gas. Today a long drive in bumper to bumper traffic across LA at rush hour netted 55.6mpg.

My car has had the various recall SW loaded, etc.

Your thoughts?

Noticed my mpg's are up 6 mpg. Thought it was because it was winter and using less a/c. But I live in southern California so a cold day here for other regions would be a warm spring day.
It's a mystery, so I'm just gonna enjoy it for as long as I can.

I’d say it’s a combination of your ICE and you breaking in.

Yes quite a difference when in eco mode.
It is more like one pedal driving.

When you restart your truck do you get the message asking to stay in eco mode for like 1.5 seconds? It’s impossible to click OK before the message is gone. And yet the seat belt screen stays up for a minutes. Seriously, who did that to us?
I’m going on a crusade to have Ford fix that.
