Hi everyone
Early on, I tries to get in the habit of setting Eco mode when I remembered, but did not notice much difference and soon stopped trying. After driving a while I got more skilled at entering EV mode, and tried to do this when appropriate. I recently retried eco mode, and now it seems to make a big difference. I notice the car in EV mode even when not specifically trying to get there. The engine seems to turn off ASAP on deceleration, and the car seem to be a bit closer to 1 foot driving, that is, more engine braking when I left off the gas. Today a long drive in bumper to bumper traffic across LA at rush hour netted 55.6mpg.
My car has had the various recall SW loaded, etc.
Your thoughts?
