I thought I'd join this group now, while my red Maverick XLT is finally in production. My original order date was 10/26/21, 624 days ago. The only Ford products I bought since 1972 were a couple of Mercury Villager minivans, back in the 1990s. I figured the Maverick would be good for retirement projects when I retire at year end.

Welcome from way down in Texas. Glad to hear your Maverick is being built and glad to hear you are getting to retire at year's end. I have done so - twice. The first time lasted 3 weeks and the last time lasted 5 months. I am shooting for a third time maybe at end of this year or first of next year. Why hurry since I am only 76?
