Got pushed for the first time

I ordered an XLT Hybrid with nothing but a hitch receiver as an option. I would have been happy with an XL but for the cruise control. Ordered Oct 20, 2021 got a build date Sep 23 for an Oct 10 build with a VIN #. Today got a one week push notice to Oct 17. I hope this sticks as I am really excited about a new truck. There is one in my neighborhood and I see it all the time and that keeps the dream alive. Here's hoping that my first push is my last. I am in Orange, CA and my dealer is Villa Ford. The trucks that have been turned back to the dealer have been marked up by 20K. I have no idea what price they settled on.

I hope you got something in writing with Villa Ford, because they're notorious with their ridiculous markups on Mavericks in SoCal. They're asking $20k markup on XL Hybrids. What do you think they'll do to your retail order if you didn't get something in writing to lock your price in? Good luck.
