Getting my Maverick on Monday

Long time lurker here, first time poster.

Got the call on Monday that my Maverick came in and I completely wasn't expecting it till at least April.

I didn't even know it was coming yet since the dealer put the wrong email in and the only time I checked with Ford support was to see if my order was in.

Since it came sooner then I was expecting I got to move some money around which will take a couple days but I just got back from doing the paperwork and putting a deposit on it.

Grey Xlt luxury package Ecoboost with fx4, 4k towing package, moonroof and cp360.

There was a blue one right next to mine that was the same except without the moonroof and the dealer said they had a black one back in detailing getting picked up tomorrow.

This is a smaller dealership and while I was there I asked how many orders did they have total and he said 70

Great news! It's very nice that Ford is getting trucks to the dealers.

Very similar to my Hybrid Maverick order except the Hybrid... I am happy for you. The limited resources doesn't seem to be CP360, Luxury package or spray in bed liner anymore.... Must be the hybrid... All l can do is laugh...

I was actually wrong about cp360, the dealer never put it in for my order, I thought he did but when we reviewed the build sheet vs the truck, I saw it was never entered.

Sucks I really did want it but I can live without it though.

I also had a hybrid order in, same thing as this for option wise because I was unsure which engine because I knew the Ecoboost motors plus awd but I was going blind ok both these orders.

I finally got to test drive a hybrid back in oct because a friend of a friend was selling it at his cost and I was impressed with it but a dealer offered him 7k more for his hybrid xl so the deal fell through.

The Ecoboost order came in first, I checked with Ford and they said my hybrid order isn't even scheduled yet so I told the dealer to cancel the hybrid and I just went with the Ecoboost.

Personally I do like the Ecoboost awd drive much better but the hybrid is actually pretty damn nice and impressive.

If I could go back and change anything though, I'd make sure they added the cp360 and get the BAP, it would have looked very nice with the carbonized grey plus the orange accents is kinda meh on the xlt
