I was adding the trip 2 screen to my 22 Mav ecoboost. Now I have a screen that says generic screen. I cannot deselect it using the menu. Nor do I know what it does. Any Ideas? Thanks.

How is that done? Also this is not the infotainment screen. It's the one you see through the steering wheel. But it's not a big issue just an annoyance. Thank you

Ok wierd. Went out with the intention of deselecting all the screens then add them back in. I started the truck and the generic screen was gone. Ah computers they "mostly work".

Sorry, I was referring to the wrong screen. But if you do want to reboot the infotainment system for some reason, hold down the Power & Skip Track buttons until it restarts.

Just makes me wonder why that even came up. I worry about stupid crap.

Nah I was in the settings where you choose what you want to be able to display. Things like trip a and b, tire pressure, awd. And some others Generic was not one of them. But when I toggled throgh the screens there it was doing nothing. Was not in the selection list of what I can display. But all ok now, went away on a truck restart. Thanks.
