green screen

Today I went to the store, on the way to the store I was listening to a ball game on my local AM station. When I got back into the truck and started it, the green screen came up. The one with the green arrow and a messaging saying Use I-phone blue tooth to connect to Car Play.

I went to my phone settings and opened blue tooth and the Car Play Box was not connected. I tried to get it to connect and it would not. So I knew at this point I needed to reboot the phone.

When the green screen comes up, there is no way to get passed it. Turning off the radio and turning back on didn't work. Turning the truck off and back on, nothing. What the heck? Why cant my system remember where I was before i exited the truck and stay where it was when I turned the truck off?

I've started the habit of turning off the radio before turning off the truck. Then it seems to remember where it was. Otherwise its random draw whether it comes up with a radio station, usb or something else.
