Well we have received between 25” and 30” of snow then we got spill over drone hell freezing over. Yesterday I went for groceries. My Maverick was all snug and warm in the heated garage. I drove the two miles to the store and went I came back out, stored the groceries in back, started the truck, I found all the windows had frosted up on the inside. I turned the heat and defrosters on high. I noticed the large dash screen was slow to load, stuck on the Ford logo, when I put the blower on high the screen showed the blower fan speed was stuck on 7. I thought, “that’s odd”. I put the truck in reverse but the rear camera did not load to the screen, still just 7. Now all my windows are frosted and I can’t see out and the back up screen blinds me further. Some one honked, wanting me to back out (nice close spot to main door and it -30 degrees). Sorry, I ain’t moving if I can’t see. Put it back in park and waited five minutes for windows to clear. I drove home and only 7 was on the screen but the radio worked, stations changed but screen stayed numb. When I got home I shut it off and open the door to quiet the radio. Started it back up only to see 7. I shut it off again but this time I waited for all the auto lights to die out and that restored control to the screen. Just a PSA 4 FYI.

Did you try to turn the screen off by hitting the far right physical button below the screen, twice?

Did you try restarting the infotainment system by holding down the power button and skip track forward button?

Nope. I’ve heard that talked about I past posts on this site but I was freezing my ass off in a grocery store parking lot so I just drove 15 minutes home and shut off the truck. It reset and was okay when I went out today. Just -1 today, not quite as cold. Thanks for the reminder though. Hopefully I won’t have to remember those steps.
