Looks like a decent deal to me. Website says it's 1231lbs. Is it possible/good idea to tow with the 2wd hybrid?

Yes. The hybrid has a 2000 pound tow limit.

The hybrid and you will barely know it is behind you!

You will probably get 28/30 MPG towing something like that too!
