Ford Tracking site is showing my XLT Lux package as coming with a drop-in bed liner. Is this correct?

I ordered my Maverick back in September and received my confirmation from my dealer a couple days later. I was under the assumption that I was getting a spray-in liner with my LUX package. Is that just the default description on the Ford tracker or did my dealer agree to get the drop-in without consulting me first?

What did your build sheet you signed say?

The XLT Lux I ordered mid November was subbed out for a drop-in, but it was shown on the build sheet I signed.

Ford's Maverick build configurator now shows that the XLT Lux comes with a spray-in again. I thought there were a few weeks in November where their site showed drop-in for XLT Lux.

Unfortunately yes. We spent last week and this past Monday trying to order the XLT with luxury package. We - and the dealer - found out Friday that they could not order the Spray, only the Drop In. We worked with them on Monday to try options - Don’t put it in, do Spray in at Dealer, etc. Nope.

You can only order an XLT with Luxury package or Spray - In with a Drop in. We did not put in our order (yet). The Lariat we are told CAN get the Spray in as there is not hold. A deal breaker - heck I’d order if I could get them to NOT install the drop in, and dealer was willing to work with us. Ford won’t let them - we sat there with Inventory manager trying multiple ideas and in the end no way around it.

Trying to figure out what we are going to do - frustrating, the drop in is a strong negative in my book.

Apparently since I last checked yesterday they switched the tracker back to Spray-In.

Based on this we are checking with our dealer again, will reply back when / if they confirm one way or the other.

Here is an idea, if you have a sympathetic salesman perhaps you can work a deal.
See if you can trade your drop-in liner for credit toward them spraying your bed. They can either send it out or do it them selves.
