Ford Tonneau Cover - Help with tailgate bed extender

Has anyone with a Ford Maverick tonneau cover, figure how to add a tailgate bed extender?

I have the factory Ford tonneau cover on my truck. You can’t add a tailgate bed extender, because the tonneau cover has 2 latches when closed, interfere with the bed extender when it is to be folded into the bed.

Notice your bed cover doesn't have the latches on the top, right and left. I will get a picture tomorrow. It’s raining now.

Just found this picture. Notice how the latch on the left sticks out. There is also one on the right. It prevents the bed extender from folding.

Too bad about the soft roll up, as IHateSpeedbumps said my extender fits fine with the Ford/BAK hard tri-fold cover.

I have a soft tonneau cover with the bed extender. It's one of the cheaper ones you can find on Amazon. It has two latches which the extender blocks a little. But I'm able to finagle it a little to work.
