Is anyone else stuck at "In production" for a long time in the Ford Order Tracker?
I ordered my XL Ecoboost on December 6th.
On December 16th, I got the email notice that the truck was scheduled for production the week of 2/21.
On January 24th, I got an email notice that my production date had changed to the week of 2/14.
Great! I was excited, because that should have meant that things would happen sooner.
The week of the 14th came and went with no emails from Ford, and the Order Tracker still showed as "ordered."
On either 2/21 or 2/22, the order Tracker showed "In Production" with no date under it. No email from Ford.
The next day the "In Production" status showed the date of 2/22/2022 under it.
Another week and a half has gone by with no email from Ford about the truck being built, and no change in the Order Tracker status.
I finally called my salesman to find out the status of the truck. He said the truck was built on 2/18 and is on its way. It should arrive either next week or the week after.
At least, I'm hoping the delivery estimate was more than just a guestimate on his part. It's hard to trust when I haven't received any email updates and the only thing I have to look at is stuck on "In Production."
And, yes, I have checked my spam folder multiple times.
