hi guy's , whats kinda mpg are you guy's, due to the flat landscape & lack of hills, i wonder if Florida is conducive
to coasting & getting higher the milages some people are seeing, Also seems hard to maintain a 55-60 speed in electric, or maybe i'm just doing it wrong

My gauge is currently showing 50 mpg on this tank. But that's probably because I've been doing a lot of non-AC driving. Generally, though, I get around 42 calculated mpg. I don't spend a lot of time on I-95 and most of my driving is local. US-1 or 192 rather than the interstates.

Depending on how "heavy-footed" I am from week to week I'm getting between 38-42 mpg with local driving here in Orlando. The key is to be very "light-footed" on taking off from a stopped place. It'll stay in electric mode much longer.
My Costco where I fill up the gas tank is about 3-4 miles away from my house. I was able to fill up, leave, and drive home completely on electric one time by being extra careful about slow, easy take-offs from stop lights, coasting here and there, and by the time I got home the gauge was showing almost 60 mpg!
Bottom line....use a light foot on the accelerator and you'll get good mileage.

Up here in Titusville, 12 mile straight shot to work at Blue O, so average speed is 55 -60 and 1 light, and pretty flat, i just started using Eco mode this week, ( 1/2 way into 2nd tank) it seems to be easier to get it into electric and more often, both ways avg 50.3mpg with 5+ miles on electric , so thats a score, will continue to run in eco for the work trips & see how it goes

Also try "slippery" mode. Many say they get better mileage with that than with eco.

I'm in Orlando and usually only average 35-37mpg. I can get 40s for maybe a trip but never hit it for a tank average. I think most of my trips are almost too short as when they are longer I hit the 40s. I also just use normal. Tried slippery mode twice and felt like brakes were locking up and sliding all over. Never again

I am in South Florida and I usually get 38 or 39 miles per gallon that I calculated. I once got 50 on a short trip. I drive in normal mode and maybe half city and half highway. I use 89 octane gas. I just drive normally and don’t try to improve mileage. I do check my tire pressure at least twice a month.

Yeah, what kills MPG is running the AC, here in Florida. I have found that windows cracked really is better for fuel savings. But the real “trick” to increased MPG is hypermileing.

More specifically, it’s called pulsing and gliding. This is where you put the Maverick in Slippery mode, get up to speed rather quickly but making sure you are smoothly staying in the ICE engine's most efficient powerband, ideally getting about 7mph over your desired speed and then completely let off the pedal to switch into EV mode, holding it there as long as you can. Since you are over speed, you have more lead way in gliding, so you don’t completely piss off other drivers. Keep in mind, the Maverick is most efficient, in practice, around 47mph. Really try to anticipate your stops and stay off the pedal, gliding the most you can. This is why Slippery mode is the most effective, because it reduces regen. braking and allows you to glide. Regen. braking works great in more hilly/mtn. environments but not here in Florida.

Also consider keeping your tires a little overinflated also helps reduce rolling resistance, as well as removing all unnecessary weight from the vehicle. Hope that helps!

Cocoa area. 35-38, just driving like I have for 50 years. No games no trying to maximize mpg. Just drive. Lately using eco mode seems a little more mpg.

I’m a little south of Orlando and have around 800 miles on mine and I’m averaging 42 mpg. I use normal mode with the ac on most of the time and occasionally use eco. Most of my driving is between 30-55 mph and I usually just drive normally without being too concerned about mileage.
My best so far is 58.8 and lowest is 32.6. No complaints here I love this lil truck.
