Hi everyone,

Picked up my Mav last week and it had floor liners installed. My window sticker says $175, floor liners w/carpeted mats. I mentioned it when I picked up the truck I should have had carpeted mats. Salesman searched could not find any and said they would ship them to me.

Today i received a full set of floor liners (which I have). Do carpeted mats exist? I checked Ford accessories and did not see any but hoping this great forum can offer some insight.

TIA
Mike
I have the same thing on my build. I expect my truck within the week. Like you I expect to get two sets of mats. Great question!

Of course they exist. That option includes a full front and rear set of both the carpet mats and the floor liners. They should've been 1) included on the loose item checklist on one of the stickers on the exterior of the vehicle, 2) generally loaded up in the back.

The question is whether:

The dealer took them out and didn't install them or put them back in the vehicle during PDI
The dealer did leave them in the vehicle but you overlooked them somehow
The factory neglected to load them into the vehicle

As it's on the window sticker and you paid for them, I'd make sure the dealer supplied them. Looks like they're trying to do the right thing with sending you the liners, but they were confused on which you were missing.

See this example from an Escape. As I didn't order the liners, it only lists "FT/RR FLRMATS", and I did receive those.

Thanks - they are not in the truck so I am having dealer do some more digging.

could you post a pic, or a part number. I could return the extra floor liners for the carpeted ones.
Here tis. The uncarpeted ones that came in my XLT LUX (do not remember for sure but they were extra $135 when I did my build and I suspect we're one of my constraints). The uncarpeted are extra protective and could catch at least a quart of liquids whereas the carpeted are just a wear pad under your feet And have to be removed to clean around and under and on.

Many thanks - I will forward part numbers to dealer.
What is interesting is that they are dated MD 2021/12/29 (manufacture date?). And also the Michelin PRIMACY tires on my hybrid are dated made in Jan 2022 AND I TOOK DELIVERY MARCH 9, 2022. I had previously assumed that my tires were my primary constraint but now it could just as easily been the carpeted mats or something else. ??? On the plus side mine couldn't have sat in desert very long🤗

asked my salesman about it and he said they "should" have been there. Not sure I really want them, but should have them since they were paid for. Told him the difference was $40, and I'd take it in credit in the parts or service department.

Guessing more folks have the issue than are mentioning it here?

Really wonder why the Ford person on here hasn't chimed in on what the deal might be with so many folks having this issue?

I agree - my dealership, who is one of the larger ones has no idea.

Tiara: Hi, Don! Thank you so much for your patience with our longer than normal hold time. My name is Tiara. How may I help you today?

Don: hello. I have a question about what this means on my window sticker of the truck I recently bought, want you to settle a disagreement
Don: FLR LNRS W/CARPETED MATS
Don: charge for these was $175. I have the rubber type floor mats in the truck, and I believe there also should have been a set of carpeted floor mats included, kinda a summer/winter thing

Tiara: I would be happy to assist you today, Don! Have you inquired with your ordering dealership regarding this matter?

Don: yes, they are unsure, I'm wanting to hear from someone at Ford what FLR LNRS W/CARPETED MATS......means for a 2022 Maverick

Tiara: To clarify, you are wanting to know if you were supposed to receive carpeted mats?
Don: correct, along with the all weather liner mats that I have

Tiara: Thank you for clarifying. Please allow me a moment to look into this.

Don: I chatted with other recently purchased Maverick owners who added that option on their truck, and some received them and some didn't.

Tiara: I appreciate your patience while I looked into this for you, Don! The floor mats should have been added as I was able to verify. You would need to consult with your purchasing dealership as they will be responsible to file a claim for the misbuild, or missing feature, of this build.

Thank you - I have my dealer looking for them. I checked the truck, not many places to hide them and they are not in there. They sent me a full set of the front and rear liners which I will keep until I get the carpeted fronts. Thanks again for calling Ford.

Got my truck. Ordered the floorliners with carpeted mats. But did not get the carpeted mats. Dealer is looking into it. Seems like this has happened to many people.

Leo Kaytes Ford in Warwick NY. Small privately owned dealer. So far has been a good experience. When first shown the truck it was extremely dirty from transport. Did not notice the mats were missing until it was cleaned up, papers signed and the salesman was going over the operation of the truck.
