I recently ordered a diamondback after a year of deciding if it was worth THAT much, and I almost bought a cross bin to go with it until I realized that the flex bed was designed for just this kind of job. Half an hour, and 15 minutes of looking for the tape measure I JUST HAD, later, Id turned some abandoned scraps into a slick tool bin for $0. I just have to clean the dirt off, paint it, and screw it together (in place otherwise it won't fit) that's it. Now all the small things will have a home and aren't rattling around or causing clutter, I really really like this truck
MATERIALS;
x2 2x6, 54.5" long (1 for bottom, 1 for side)
X1 2x4, 54.5" long (the cab side slot is narrower)
Enough 1/2 plywood to cover 55x26" (cut from two pieces or you won't be able to get it in place)
Happy trucking
