I have owned my Hybrid XLT for 32 days , my first fill up, 575.5 miles on the odometer pumped 13.52 gallons . Avg 42mpg . About 50/50 highway to city driving . Just wondering how it’s going be in winter driving .

My first tank put me in the 600 mile club and I have to say I'm impressed with the economy as well, especially coming from a 8 mpg-in town S10.
For sure the mileage will suffer in the winter. I'm guessing that mine will fall into the mid thirties. I think it would handle decent with better tires than the stock Continentals but those hybrid brakes require a light foot on the pedal when coming to a stop on a coated surface.

MPGs may go down if you run the heater because it requires the gasoline engine to turn on to produce heat. Regardless, you'll still be getting a lot better mileage than other trucks sold in the US.

Yea mine was about the same on first tank before i started carrying my kayak on the roof. Down in the 39 to 40 range now . I didn't run mine down as low as you did I was in the 500 mile range but same mpg before kayak now on roof. . I will get snow tires. On old SUV dropped 2 mpg from the tires alone.
