Finally got to test drive...

I really liked everything about the car except the screen which is crap. I drove a Bronco Sport right after and it was obvious that the interior (including the screen) was a step above. That's not a put down...it's just reality. This was an XLT w/ lux btw.

Two things I noticed that seemed in conflict with what I've read...both in the wheel well. There is a very thin plastic liner...not cloth but plastic. The brake lines are absolutely coated. Has anyone noticed the same?

At least the Maverick does have wheel well liners although minimal. Can you elaborate on brake line coating (rust or?).
Would like to hear more on the driving experience comparison between the Maverick and the Bronco Sport.
BTW did you buy?
