Father/Son Iconic Silver XLT Ecoboost FX4 Lux - Having fun with mods

We knew my son's 07 Ridgeline was getting long in the tooth with 240k miles on the clock so we ordered a Maverick and I picked it up 5/5. My son lives in another state and I'm sure he'll be picking this up once I get it sorted. He'll be buying it from me, interest rates are just too high and we try to keep it equitable in how we help each of our kids. Never even, but equitable. Here are some observations from someone with a passion for all vehicles.

1. It is a nice vehicle for the money! Try finding something that is as utilitarian and fun as this for 31,400.
2. Optionality - you can do a ton to this platform and truly make it "yours".
3. Nice capable driver, with the FX4 package the ride is firm but not harsh. Steering and braking are good and even "sporty". I need to the the Forscan cable and add ECO and Sport modes. Sport mode should wake this up.
4. So far we ceramic coated it (me and a buddy -10 hours of labor), added tailgate lettering. Already put Lasfit LED's in everything but the 3rd brake light (cant' get it off) Then tint the front windows on Monday, Forscan Tuesday, and a SIBL (line-x maybe) later this week. Top it off with the Tonneau cover i purchased and them I'm sure I'll get a call saying the Ridgeline is dead or sold....

Funny how timng works.

Beautiful truck and the two good looking guys on the tailgate make it look even better. Wouldn't bury the Ridgeline yet. We bought one a couple of years ago as a spare for business. It had 200,000 mi on it and now it is at 330,000 and still going strong. One of our guys uses it daily. I am retired, but still dabble a bit in business so I keep up with it.

He'll sell the Ridgeline to help with the "dad downpayment". Then we'll set up a monthly payment plan. The two boys on the back are my niece's kids - they are awesome. We lost my brother, their grandfather in September to suicide so we try to spend time with them.

Great looking truck! I really like the silver but decided on Cactus Gray . It will be first non-metallic paint vehiclle. Most were silver or silver and black.

Same color as my Tremor. Great taste! I added mud guards and window visors which are great looking and functional and not overly expensive. Your son will love it-it way exceeds expectations.
