My best guess is the exact opposite. I have seen before where a business needs money to pay for this and that - rent, minimum orders to become a wholesaler, advertising, etc., so they use the money from purchases to pay those expenses rather than doing the actual purchases and pretty soon are in a rob Peter to pay Paul situation. Probably done with good intentions -- it will only be an extra couple days, a week, a couple weeks, etc. And then it stops working and the suppliers won't send parts without money and there is no money to send and then the whole thing comes crashing down and just left with a whole lot of angry people.Yeah still no intercooler for me sadly, honestly I haven’t even started the refund process with capital one. I imagine that’s going to be a laborious route to go down given my time frame of ordering in March. I do hope Ivan is well, my best guess is that business ramped up and his supplier was producing way less than the volume coming in. I just want my product or money no hard feelings towards anyone.
someone asked that a week or so ago in the Fast Mavericks FB group.Anyone had any promised orders fulfilled since the story broke?
Unfortunately what I figured, thanks for that. I don’t have a Facebook to check out what’s going on with that side of thingssomeone asked that a week or so ago in the Fast Mavericks FB group.
no one replied in the affirmative. my recollection is that no one even heard from him when he mentioned in mid-August that 'he reached out to everyone'.
