I know this is a Maverick forum but has anybody spotted any 26 Explorer Tremors yet at any of the dealerships or in the wild?

That approach angle looks atrocious. Judging from just those photos, they should have called it the Explorer Lobo :) I'll keep my Maverick Tremor haha

The 6th gen Explorer platform should never be an off road platform, it’s way too low slung and way more built for street performance then ever off road.

Ford did change approach and departure angle a tad on the Tremor Explorer. I have both on my lot, you can for sure see the difference.

I don't know much about the Explorers but that rear differential in the Maverick Tremor/Lobo it's pretty darn cool. The whole vector steering locking differential function works very well on my Tremor. If the Explorer Tremor has that rear diff but the ST doesn't, the Tremor trim might be worth it. At least on the Explorer Tremor, that very first skid plate behind the front bumper is metal, unlike my Maverick Tremor.

After I typed all of that out, I had a brain fart. I think the Explorer is rear wheel drive based and it wouldn't make sense to use that Maverick Tremor/Lobo rear axle and the first paragraph of my reply would also make no sense 😆

I definitely feel ya. When I first started looking at the Mavericks, I was actually looking at the hybrids. I wanted to stick to a specific dealership, I did not have time to wait and order one, and I was stuck on getting that Co-Pilot 360 as an option. I 'ended up' with a Tremor and that 2.0 Ecoboost. I do not regret it at all, now. That little guy is fast and fun and hard to stop :)

The Torsten really doesn’t make a huge difference for us ST guys. A few have swapped it in from the Timberline, and they are actually weaker and don’t help put power down at all.
