What I was saying is I can’t turn the low beam DRL headlights off, even with Forscan. If I turn DRL off on the settings in the truck, it’ll also turn off the amber parking lights off.
The Torsten really doesn’t make a huge difference for us ST guys. A few have swapped it in from the Timberline, and they are actually weaker and don’t help put power down at all.
The 6th gen Explorer platform should never be an off road platform, it’s way too low slung and way more built for street performance then ever off road.
I did the whole Lasfit kit and Diode Dynamics taillight LEDs, disabled hyperflash in Forscan, and zero hyperflash with no resistors. No problems 8 months in.
Yeah all those add ons are snake oil. Went through so many dealers before I found one that didn’t try to pull that crap. If they dont want to take off those add ons I would walk out, plenty of other Mavericks out there.
Forscan changes are as follows, I still can’t figure out how to turn the headlights off, but least I some people are able to, these are in the BdyCM
DRL include park lamps = Enable
Dim DRL with Low Beam Outage = Inhibited
Left Front Low Beam Usage = Low Beam Only
Right Front Low Beam Usage...
I did the full Lasfit kit and Diode Dynamics rear taillight LED bulbs, and disabled hyperflash with Forscan. Zero hyperflash for me, everything works perfectly.
Anybody have any use for a spare tire off my Maverick? Swapped it out for a true full size for my Tremor. It’s an Atlas Priva CS 215/60r17. Never driven on, brand new. $75 OBO, located in Reno, NV. Can ship on buyers dime.
