I received a surprise email from Ford for a Maverick Lariat order i placed last year that I thought wasn't going to be submitted to Ford. Therefore I had placed another order at another dealer that I will probably need to cancel if this Ford email really delivers a truck to me.

The 4/13/2023 email contained the VIN#, Customer order # and the dealers name. It also listed a production date of June 12th week. To my surprise it did have all the options listed that I had requested last year.

However, when I go to the Ford Vehicle Order Tracking link it only shows that the order was confirmed on 9/19/2022 but no "Schedule Week of" checkoff.
Is this normal or does it indicate that the vehicle is on hold from scheduled production for some reason. Since the original email was 4/13 /2023 it has been over 2 weeks and the Ford Vehicle Order Tracking never updated.

Thanks

This is normal. Can’t remember how long it took for our XLT production info and window sticker to show up in the tracker system, but it was a while — could have been a month.

Getting a VIN is a major step in the process. Now this order will definitely be getting built, although the production schedule could shift a little.

You are still more than a month out from the production week provided in your email. So, more patience is required…. It will show up in the tracker eventually.

What KdeB said. I wondered the same thing two days ago. I called FoMoCo and they confirmed what my letter said and acknowledged that it may take a week or two to update that site. Also if you ordered two, buy both, do not CANCEL. There are people on this site that won't get their 2023 and list it here. Sure add a $1k or 2 to your MSRP and they will still be getting a good deal, rather than waiting for MY2024 to open up and 300 days later wait. Just a suggestion.
