I'd love to hear your thoughts on that hitch rack. I see the sensor issue - what other thoughts did you have about it and what are the details about it? Thanks!
I got it from harbor freight for only $60. They label it as an ATV hitch rack but it still had the same normal size attachment as the rest. It did not come with any type of warnings about not for highway use or anything like that. It was the only one they had that had that little step up like that. We had planned on doing a little bit of off-roading on this road trip and so I knew I was looking for one with a little bit of step up like that. I think because of that step up, it has a 300 lb rating compared to the other ones with a 500 lb rating. That tote you see in the pictures was pretty heavy. I assumed that when it was empty, it would make some rattling noises through the unibody like when I'm towing my trailer but it was completely silent.

As for the sensors, whenever you start the truck and you first put it in reverse, it makes a warning beep at you for a couple seconds, it recognizes a problem, and a seat belt warning style dialog box pops up on the screen. You only have to acknowledge that box one time until you turn off the truck again, not every time you back up. Later, I did find a setting in the truck menu to temporarily disable the rear sensors when you have something like a bike rack on the back. Ford did think of this.

Sounds great, thanks for the info! I am shocked it only $60 but it looks like it does the job.
