I'm local and dropped by just to check things out. Now I'm sad I didn't see you!
Hey I'm for sure will be coming back again next year. So there's always next time. Hope to see you there.

I like this. I'm between a few RTT's and awnings atm. I wish I could rock a softshell but it wouldn't hold up since it's not shaded where I park and I'd be lazy to take it off to store it when I don't use it
Soft shell aren't bad at all. It's just a habit of getting use to setting up and breaking down. Then you'll get in a rhythm with that typical routine. I live in the dessert and I've had this set up for the past year. The original Tepui cover was lacerated by some homeless; who tried to break in the RTT. 😄 It was taped up for quite some time, but then it got really ugly because dirt would get trap under the tape.

So I purchased a new one after Thule announced that they bought Tepui. Since then, it's been great. Summer is just right around the corner. So we'll see how they will hold and possibly opt in to a mini iKamper.

How comfortable is it to sleep in the tent up there? I have always wondered lol
It's a pretty decent comfort to where you can just lay down and crash out because you're that dead tired. 🤣 But the RTT comes with a 2.5" maybe 3" high density foam mattress. But I can always add more (like a memory foam). For now it's not that bad. It's doing its job. My son and I can actually sleep in here comfortably. I usually bring a couple of comforters and weighted blankets (in case it gets too cold), a pair of memory pillows and we're good good to go! 😁🤙🏾

Thanks for the info! Most of them I’ve seen a weight limit and I’m like dang, how can a couple sleep up there?! Ha. I definitely want to look into a basic setup.

You're very welcome! Yes, just keep looking around and you might find one that's only a fraction of a price.

Awesome! The wife and I were just batting around the idea of rigging it up, throwing a teardrop on the back and making our way up to Fairbanks, AK next Feb to see the lights and your kit there gives me hopes we could make it work lol.

Had an opportunity to attend my very 1st Overland Expo West in my whole entire life. It was so much fun! Found the only Ford Mav that was built with all the bells and whistles within a week! Sitting on a 2" Ford Ranger lift kit with fully fabricated Go Fast Campers. Quite stunning I must add!

Follow them on IG for more details...

Meanwhile, here's mine with its first 945 miles on the clock. I didn't even expect to pick one up at my local Ford dealership here in Sin City. I didn't mind the mark up price; then I decided to change my mind when someone had canceled their order. I was just hoping to get the XLT Hybrid on order or waiting list. 😁🙏🏾 But love every bit of it ... that 2.0T EB! 😍😍😍
