Drove home my XLT, FX4 (Velocity Blue) today

added a tailgate dampener today. install went pretty smooth.

I am 6 foot tall and my wife is 5 11 we could not fit comfortably im back seat while either one of us was in drivers seat. I wish it had more back room leg room. It also is terrible for car seats. I ended up getting my depoist back and getting a f150 supercrew cost me 20k more but the maverick did not fit my family. I perviosly had a supercab ram and supercab f150 both had way more space in back then maverick. I do still love the maverick and if i was single or didnt have children i would of got maverick.

It all depends on how you sit when you drive. My father-in-law is an inch shorter than me and he was comfortable on the ride when he was in the back seat. same with my mother-in-law who is about 5'8". I sit up high and pretty close up to the pedals even being as tall as I am, so it may not be the same if your seat is a bit further back. with you coming from an F150 and having a child I understand why you would not be satisfied with the space in the rear compared to those. the Maverick IS a smaller truck by the way haha. enjoy your new F150...I just couldn't justify spending over 35k for a truck.

Wow. That's interesting. I understand people people are built differently, but Doug DeMuro is 6'4". He sat in the front seat with the seat adjusted to what was most comfortable to him. He then left the seat in that position, got out and hopped in the back, behind that seat. He had about "zero" additional space left, but was amazed that he actually fit without being cramped or his knees hitting the front seat... Maybe slightly toughing > but again, he's 6'4" !

Another thing, how often do you or your wife sit in the back seat of your own vehicle ? I never do.

Kind of funny you bought an F150 for more leg room. I bought an F150 brand new, 13 yrs ago which I still have. It's my baby.... If only I could afford gas for the darn thing. It is a Supercab, and two weeks after I bought it, I ripped the rear seats completely out, and have never thought twice about that. Good space for a strong stereo setup I was actually in the market for a regular cab, but they sold me the Supercab for a couple thousand less than a regular cab ! Twisted my arm. My truck had a window sticker of $31k and I got it for $23K ! Stole it. Wrote them a check, and it was all mine by the time I rolled off the lot

I am just about 6'3" so the front seat is actually plenty spacious. As soon as i sat down in it i had a smile on my face because the seats are very comfortable and the seating position you can adjust just right. and the visibility is crazy good! just overall a great ride! the passengers in the rear have plenty of leg room but they were all only about 5'8" - 6' tall. havent had someone as tall as me in the back yet but it does have more space than the ranger

I am 6 ft and a little on the big side and I have sit in the back seat of mine and it is very comfortable.
