naw, I'm way too smart for that. 1st thing I do in any new car is pull the fuse for the airbags! I unplug the wiring for those annoying seat belt reminders chimes while I'm at it. Problem solved!10 and 2 is no longer encouraged because of the airbags. 9 and 3 are the recommended positions so that your hands fly to the side and not up towards your face. I learned this from "BRAKES" (https://putonthebrakes.org/about) when I took my son. Anyone with a teen absolutely should try to get into this course if you are lucky. The kids actually learn defensive driving techniques (like putting the car into a 540 spin and teaching them how to drive out of it safely)
Also, I bet 9 out of 10 folks in this forum are "adjusting their sideview mirrors incorrectly". It's insane how you can get a full 180 out the back when you set them up properly.
