Does changing order details or trim set back order?

My question and concerned
something I thought Tim podcast addressed , if one changes their sept original trim level EI. Xlt to LXor
, details add or delete , does like starting over?, put ,take you out of like as it were.
Is it a setback because I do put a new date on adjustments
Just got me thinking on this please advice

Memo just came out today. You can change anything without changing order date. That includes engines. But they aren’t scheduling by order date, they are going by allocations and constraints.

I believe they let you change engines and options but not the body style. Changing the body style changes your order date. I think that's FWD/AWD or Tremor which is different body style.

What did I do by change trim to xl if you are correct it changed my order date to December 10 instead of September 18
