Does anyone know how to delete prior map directions?

I've never owned a vehicle before where I can enter an address & get to my destination with precise directions. Last vehicle was 19yrs old (& still running well when I gave it away). I've tried over & over to delete my one-time destination address (a craigslist purchase from a private party) from my Maps. I touched the "X" but that doesn't work. I just about tried everything I could think of. Well I'm old and not too current on vehicle accessories and how to use them all (yet, though I hope to learn). PLEASE, CAN ANYONE OUT THERE HELP ME? Thanks so much. I'm sure my teenage grandkids could easily show me but they live in another state.

If you are talking about clearing your Google maps history.

Or if you are talking about a saved destination in the search bar, click on the search bar and a list of destinations should show up below. Click on more and you should be able to select each destination and delete it. This is using your phone. I'm not sure about while plugged into the truck.
