I put a deposit on a Lariat with most of the available features in May 2022 and expected it would be bumped to a 2023 based on people's posts. I got the call last week that the order has gone in and they expected it by the end of the month. The order is from Zender Ford in Spruce Grove, Canada and it's roughly $1000 less than MSRP.

I'd call the sales manager to make sure all of the options you ordered are included. I ordered an XLT hybrid with the lux and CP on 15 Oct. I received the production email on 22 Aug for a 19 Sept build. I was super excited, but skeptical. When I talked to the sales manager on 23 Aug, he said he dropped the lux and CP so it would go into production as a '22. I ended up very disappointed and told him I wasn't going to take delivery. I will be placing an order for a '23 with a different dealer when the order bank opens up.

A little back story though. I did pick up a hybrid XL hybrid on 27 January that a customer couldn't take delivery on. Then on 30 March, I traded in the XL for a hybrid XLT with the lux, but not CP. I need CP due to having C4-C5 fused and having a hard time turning my head side to side.

Ford stopped taking 2022 Maverick orders in January. Maybe your dealer had an older order in process that the customer gave up on. If that's the case you probably did luck out.

Ford stopped taking 2022 Maverick orders in January. Maybe your dealer had an older order in process that the customer gave up on. If that's the case you probably did luck out.
They are in Canada, it is weird up there, apparently the order banks never closed for them..
