Detroit area, bought a Maverick

I'm 200 miles into possesion by a '23 XLT in distinguished Cactus Grey. Like most of you, I hadn't seen one in person. Like probably fewer of you, I'm not a truck guy. I've owned 2 previously in my lifetime. A 1967 F250 Camper special that I had to roll into a ditch to inherit from my father. and a 1994 F150 club cab step side that I enjoyed. But I liked the price point of this truck. I ordered in September, the day ordering opened and took delivery this past Thursday.

Got to admit, it's a much nicer vehicle than I honestly expected. Glad to contribute!

Congratulations from TX. I know you will enjoy your Maverick like the rest of us. My wife has an XLT Hybrid and I have an XLT Ecoboost. We both enjoy ours. You will find that it is truly a unique truck in so many ways. For the money, there is nothing that matches it. Happy Mavericking.

Y'all are a tough crowd

So, at around 2800 miles I suffered a road rage incident. The raging individual didn’t like that I was doing the speed limit. Blew around me and then proceeded to brake check me for over a Mike, until he plain stopped in the middle of a two lane blacktop. I stopped short. The poor guy behind couldn’t. Plowed into me and pushed me into the **sh*le that caused it. It left the innocent guy behind me and myself with totaled vehicles. So, my hybrid has been replaced with a pure gas unit. Happy I could get another, but I miss 45mph!
