Hi Folks,
New member here, trying to get a feel for delivery slip.
Our Mav was built 3/19 and shipped (Convoy) 4/03.
It seems the delivery date has been creeping into the future and is now 5/02 to 5/15.
Any ideas on what to expect?

Thanks,
S

Hello and welcome to MTC. Congratulations on it being built. As far as shipping goes, don't hold your breath. My ETA was changed 3 times and it was delivered a few days after the last ETA. I think the dealership ran a tracking and found it was sitting at a lot about 4.5 to 5 miles away since 3/23. It was delivered a few days after the tracking last Wednesday 4/11. I'm not upset, I understand I'm not the only one waiting for their vehicle and they have thousands of vehicles to ship or transport to several dealerships throughout the state and most likely to neighboring states as well. Best of luck with your new Maverick.

Of course my hope is that you have a better experience than myself.

Anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks after "shipped." Some have waited as long as 8 weeks.

Mine sat in a rail yard for 3 weeks, before pickup/final delivery by truck.

Thanks for the insights everyone. I'm not in the least concerned about the timeline. I just wanted a clue for planning. Vacation, financing, that sort of thing.
I'm a bit afraid of taking the old Rav too far from home with 260k miles.
When we decided to purchase the Maverick (nearly two years ago) the wait time was said to be a year or more. So, I think of all those auto loan payments saved or at least delayed.

Happy Motoring,
S

Sometime during the COVID pandemic I was toying with the idea of getting a smallish truck. The soon-to-be available Maverick was the only choice. When it was revealed a Hybrid option was going to be available, that sealed the decision. I was saving a boatload of money by not going out to eat or much of anything else during lockdown. Between that, the 13 month delay for my truck and selling my Subaru, I was able to pay cash for my XL.

Enjoy the wait.
