Dealership Has 17 Mavericks

This is for anyone in the So Cal Los Angeles area...has anyone dealt with Sunrise Ford North Hollywood? They have 17 Mavericks either on the lot or on the way to them. They all appear be dealer order and they have blue window stickers.

Just curious that they are able to get so many orders just for them or if these are people are turning them down as their orders come in. Maybe they increasing the price of people's order? Not sure, just strange to me...thoughts?

I believe a blue sticker indicates dealership stock order vs the green ones that are customer orders

Wow. For that many blue stickers it seems like they have massive allocations or didn’t take many retail orders.

Blue can also be fleet but it usually says that plainly. O/T 2 in the Item # field should also indicate dealer stock.

My local dealer, Encinitas Ford, ZIP 92024, shows 11 Mavs on their website as of 06:45 PDST 6/9/23. I checked a few of the window stickers, they are green and say "special order" across the bottom. The 2.0 EB's are priced $6k above msrp and the hybrids are priced $9k above msrp. Some of them have been displaying on their site for over a week which leads me to believe customers decided not to take them. This dealer does not reqire a deposit with an order so the customer can walk away from an order without losing any $$$. I have no idea what the final transaction price is/are or if they negotiate. If you order a Mav through them, they verbally say they will charge the customer the price on the window sticker and not add invisible items or dealer installed options unless you request them. We shall see if this is true if/when my '23 hybrid Lariat gets built.

You can edit the post yourself to turn off the "strikeout" feature. Just click the Edit button for that post. I don't think there was nefarious intent by the admins - more likely just a software glitch in the system. If it was "prohibited" information, they would have taken down the post (or thread).
