I have a '24 Maverick on order, I get an email yesterday from a NC Ford dealer, not the one I have the order with, one I've dealt with in the past. The title is "Special Offer just for you", it's a 2023 Hybrid Maverick XLT for $29,895 and a link "Get this deal". So I click on the link and it takes me to their webpage and the Maverick in question. I check the sticker and the MSRP is $29,895. Has pretty much everything I have on the order and it's HPR which is a great color, now of course my Spidey senses tell me there's a catch somewhere. So I requested their "EPrice" and I get an email today telling me that the Maverick isn't available, it's a special order, but we have an XLT EB for $38,987 if you are interested, MSRP of $33,987. I wrote them back and said I didn't appreciate the bait and switch and no thanks, I'm not paying $5k ADM especially on a EB. If it never was available then why the heck are you sending me "Special Offers" for it!
