I have never ordered a new vehicle before. Talked to a local dealer a week before orders opened, The would order and sell me a 2024 Maverick at MSRP plus their dealer fee of around $600. They had to get all the '23 orders accounted for before my order, no problem with that.
They got the old '23 model accounted and my order went ok.
Got my confirmation from Ford the next morning. YES!!!
I went into the dealer to sign and got a printout of the order confirmation at MSRP with no mention of the dealer fees or anything else. They didn't even ask for any deposit.
Is this a setup for some ADM in the future? What are some other good reasons beside I don't trust stealerships when I ask for a sale price paper. Whats the term for the paper I'm looking for? Should I ask for a actual contract?
Please, need some answers quick if I have to order thru another dealer for 2024.
