Custom 3D printed front lip for 25+ Lariat/XLT!

From model to reality on my first 3D scan, my fully 3D printed custom front lip!
I made my first prototype in July before any others were on the market for the 25+ model years, but I still don’t like the Air-Design lip that did come out. I was finally able to make a usable one and have it professionally painted. Gloss black was a compromise because there was no way I cold match the bumper plastic color with a matte clear, but it’s not bad and at least matches the mirror caps/headlight insides and hides any leftover imperfections.

FAQ: I customized the headlights myself,
I also made the fog DRL strips and also genuine fog light mounts

So sharp, love this.

And scrape curbs ?

And , I'm not an expert with 3D printing , but doesn't that require a " huge " printer ?

But yes , it does looks good ....

no it does not require a big printer I own a small 3d print farm myself it just requires multi parts then glued together...

Looks cool and well done - I’d expect to see these copy-catted and be on a dozen Amazon store fronts within weeks, you’ll probably have the only ones made in the USA unfortunately…

Well no one else has my file and my design is completely impossible to injection mold, so I doubt it
The air design one exists and looks slightly similar, that’ll more then likely be what gets mass produced.

Well I hope that’s the case and also that you are able to print the parts and sell them to generate some income for you

Unfortunately too complex of a project to do over and over again for a reasonable price, otherwise I would

This design is what I’m talking about!!!
You might have actually saved the facelift design in my eyes. I wasn’t a fan of the new front end but you’ve done a stellar job at fixing it up

same issue I’m having… not too fond of the AirDesign one for my 24.
